He Is Risen!

He is risen–He is risen indeed is a common exchange between Christians around Easter, and in fact He has risen and is sitting at the right hand of God. When Easter comes I am sad and happy. I’m sad because my sin is the reason He went to the cross. I am responsible for the nails that pierced His hands and feet. I am happy because His love for me and the shedding of His blood covered that sin. I can never be grateful enough for the gift He gave. Romans 6:9 says, “Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.” Because He rose from the grave, we will also rise to be with Him. He is risen indeed, Praise God!
