On July 27, 2014 New Journey Baptist Church was opened by its founding and current pastor, Tony Kelly. The first service was attended by a small and loving group of believers and was initially held at Imagination Day Care owned by Carol Jones. This group of people could see the vision that Pastor Tony saw for the future of this church and they had the desire to participate in its growth and development.
After a brief period at the day care facility NJBC moved to another temporary location for a year. With God’s blessings and the efforts of our leaders and congregation, we were able to relocate to our current facilities. Over time, this move allowed us to purchase the building and surrounding land, renovate the location and develop a lovely, comfortable, and welcoming sanctuary.
New Journey Baptist offers an environment that allows people to experience God through His word. NJBC also offers an opportunity for a well-grounded bible belief system to develop the body, soul and spirit through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and then become a difference maker wherever God places them. Our doors are open to everyone who is searching for the peace and love that Jesus offers to all who seek Him.
