Witnessing for the King

Wherever we are, we are his witness. Some may think that being a witness originated in the New Testament (Acts 1:8), but it really started in the Old Testament. The Jewish nation was told by God to be witnesses while they were in captivity. Isaiah 43:10a tells us, “Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen”; and 43:12b says “Therefore ye are my witnesses..” Witnessing for Christ is our responsibility, not only when it is easy or convenient, but for wherever God leads us. How about asking God to guide us to someone today who needs to hear the Good News! May He bless us and give us courage.
