Each of us at one time or another may have had a desperate plea to God, putting a friend or loved one on a prayer chain. Everyone needs a healing touch. Before our Healer was born, the prophet Isaiah told of such a person when he said in Isaiah 35:5-6, “Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstoppable. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.” Aren’t you glad that we now, and from the beginning, have a savior who can, according to his will, heal all our prayers?
