All of us likes to receive praise from people important to us for a job well done, but we should remain humble by not seeking it because there is only One worthy of praise. The 24 elders in Revelation 4:11 said: “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Indeed, He is the only one worthy of our worship and praise. Did you maybe have someone tell you what a great job you did? We serve a God who created heaven and earth! Have you thought to complement Him?
