Have you ever had to look for something that you couldn’t find? Maybe your keys or your phone? What about God? Are we looking for him as earnestly as when we look for something less important to us. He has given us an invitation to find him. In Jeremiah 29:13 he says to the prophet, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. ” In John 15:4 God says “Abide in me.” Seeking God isn’t about perfection, it’s about learning to stay close to Him, it’s about learning to live with Him, and bringing our whole selves into his presence. Spend time in the Lord’s presence today; you’ve been invited and He’s expecting you! God bless you!
What Are You Looking For?
Some people are always looking for something they think is missing in their lives, and more often than not, they never find it. As Christians, what should we be looking for? Colossians 3:1 says “If ye be risen in Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.” That’s what I’m looking for, how about you? God bless you today!
