What Are You Most Afraid Of?

What are you most afraid of? For some, it’s spiders or snakes, or something more life-changing, like the loss of a job, financial security, or the loss of a loved one. I am afraid of hearing the words Christ spoke in Matthew 7:23b, “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Thankfully, if we truly believe that He died for our sins and rose again after three days, we won’t have to hear those words. A dear friend passed recently, a woman who devoted her life to serving the Lord and shared Him with others, even while she was in the hospital. I believe she is hearing Him say the words in Matthew 25:21 — “Well done, thou good and faithful servant…” She was an inspiration and we should all follow the example she set. Someday I want to hear those same words. God bless you!
